Bhumi is one of India’s largest youth-driven volunteering organizations, dedicated to advancing education, community welfare, and environmental conservation with a focus on financial transparency. The organisation is committed to meaningful change through volunteering, aiming to empower individuals to reshape conversations with their voices and stories. Last year, Bhumi engaged over 90,000 volunteers in various initiatives aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Teach underprivileged children in shelter homes across the country
Provide holistic education and support for sustainable livelihoods through weekend classes in subjects like English, Math, Science, Arts, and Life-Skills.

Lead volunteer-driven projects, promoting environmental, animal, and community welfare across their city.
Educate students on eco-friendly living

Bhumi's Fellowship Volunteering program - Classroom support
Bhumi’s Fellowship program offers volunteers a hands-on role in supporting whole-school transformation. Teach subjects like English and Math, prepare TLMs, and assist with assessments.

** Please note: Bhumi Fellowship Volunteering is an umbrella program comprising 3 activities namely - Classroom support, Project implementation and Community engagement. Volunteers signing up for this program will participate in all 3 activities.
Communication skills
Volunteers should possess basic communication skills in English and the regional language to effectively engage with students, teachers, and community members. Strong interpersonal skills will help in collaborating and organizing school events and activities.
