Childhood cancer is a devastating reality that affects countless families, compounded by the exorbitant costs of treatment. As medical expenses soar, many families find themselves burdened with financial strain.
In Mumbai, numerous child-focused cancer care NGOs extend a helping hand to families facing the overwhelming challenges of paediatric cancer. Providing both financial assistance and holistic support, these organisations play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of young patients and their families, offering a glimmer of hope in the face of adversity.
Children with cancer need timely treatment, but arranging funds from Trusts/NGOs immediately is a challenge. This is where Anjeze Charitable Trust steps in to extend much-needed financial support for paediatric cancer patients. The organisation provides emergency funds so that the child can start and keep their treatment going, until the family is able to secure funds for complete treatment.
The organisation has established partnerships with government and charity cancer hospitals in the city, where it has deployed paediatric oncology nutritionists. The NGO handpicks and trains these skilled and empathic nutritionists, who help counsel children with cancer on nutritional choices.

Even the most basic cancer treatment can last at least a year, and as the treatment costs are very high, many cancer patients cannot complete a cancer treatment program. Thus, this poses an obstacle in providing sustained healthcare intervention for needy child patients. Child Vision Foundation serves as a cancer care charity for children to address this very gap. In partnership with a number of credible and competent cancer hospitals and organisations across the country, CVF strives to help carry out treatment for children with cancer.
