Golden Butterflies Children’s Palliative Care Foundation (CPCF) is a not-for-profit organization, focused on aiding underprivileged children with chronic, advanced, or incurable diseases in Chennai and surrounding Tamil Nadu districts. The foundation provides comprehensive support, including medical aid, financial assistance, palliative care, and counseling, for terminally ill children suffering from conditions like cancer, AIDS, and end-stage organ failure, emphasizing care for both the child and their family.

CURRENT VOLUNTEERING PROGRAMMES

Host art sessions as therapy for terminally ill children ​
Paint and draw with the children, siblings & their caregivers to keep them positively engaged
Narrate stories to interact with terminally ill children ​
Create engaging interactions and bring stories to life for children and their caregivers.​
Use puppetry to help children heal
Put up puppetry shows to reduce anxiety and bring laughter to patients and caregivers.
Run events for terminally ill children and their caregivers
Hold and manage events end-to-end to create memorable experiences and foster a supportive community.
Age requirement
Volunteers can be aged 21 and above.
Experience
No experience needed for preparation of art activities. However, prior experience is required for conducting sessions or workshops for children. Additionally, orientation and training for creating art templates will be provided​
