Saurabh Nanavati | CEO of Invesco Asset Management Company (India) Ltd.
Saurabh Nanavati is currently the CEO of Invesco Asset Management Company (India) Ltd. which currently manages/advises over USD 3.75 Billion (Rs. 24,000 crores) of client assets invested in India.
Saurabh has over 18 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, uniquely spread across various leadership responsibilities – Investments, Sales, and General Management – in the Indian and Global markets. His previous roles include being the Chief Investment Officer with HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Business Manager for Deutsche Asset Management for their Asia ex-Japan region based out of Singapore, and Head of Institutional Sales for Deutsche Asset Management (India) besides stints with Reuters and HSBC India. He is also a Director on the Board of the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI).
Saurabh holds an Electronics Engineering degree and an MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
Dave Richards | Founder & Managing Partner, Unitus Seed Fund
Dave is an observer on the Board.
Dave Richards is an experienced entrepreneur, executive, and global early-stage investor. He has been an early investor in microfinance and other emerging market sector businesses serving BoP (low-income) populations. Dave has been involved with the Unitus Group since 2005, helping to lead efforts to select and invest in BoP entrepreneurs in many developing countries. He led the Unitus Labs incubator for 2 years including the successful research and spinout of both Unitus Impact (venture investments to create BoP livelihoods) and Unitus Seed Fund. Dave also oversaw Unitus Investment Management, the General Partner of Unitus Equity Fund (microfinance venture fund), was a board member of Unitus Capital (Bangalore-based investment bank for BoP sectors), and was on the investment committee for Unitus Impact.
Previously, Dave developed multiple high-growth technology businesses at RealNetworks, Sybase, and Symantec from startups to numerous hundred-million-dollar global enterprises. He also is a partner with Social Venture Partners Seattle and leads the Social Innovation Fast Pitch startup angel fund. Dave received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
